Founded in 2014, Boxmoor Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu has grown to be the largest full-time academy in the local area. Our fully-equipped facility has a large matted training space, strength and conditioning gym, seated viewing area, showers, sauna, toilets, and male and female changing rooms. We offer a variety of memberships to suit your needs and budget.
OUR CLASSES
Adults
We offer a range of classes for adults at all levels from complete beginner to competitor. Whether you are aiming to learn skills for self-defence or want to win a medal in competition, we can help you work towards your goal.
Kids
We offer classes for kids from ages 4 to 14+. Jiu-jitsu helps develop self-defence skills and confidence. Many of our students enjoy competing and several have progressed to our mixed adults and juveniles classes.
No Gi
We offer no gi grappling classes for adults and kids. This form of jiu-jitsu involves training without the gi. As well as being a popular form of jiu-jitsu it is also used in mixed martial arts (MMA).

FROM APSLEY TRAIN STATION: 10-15 minute walk
Walk north-west on London Rd/A4251, go past one roundabout, turn left onto Avia Close and you will see the gym at the top right-hand side of the close.
FROM THE M1: 8-10 minute drive
FROM THE M25: 7 minute drive
We recommend using a sat nav to choose the best route to the gym as the route and journey times can differ depending on traffic.
WHERE TO PARK
We have a free car park on site. If this is full, the nearest car park is Durrants Hill Car Park on Durrants Hill Road (5 minute walk from the gym).
